Aim High - Up, Up and Away

Good morning! It's Sandie here and I have a card to share featuring UP, UP AND AWAY. The design team inspiration for this month is "As The Leaves Turn" and we are using autumnal colours and/or images.

I coloured my image with Touch Twin markers -
Skin: YR132, YR133, R139
Hair: BR99, BR102, BR104
Scarf: R18, Colorless blender
Hot Air Balloon: G56, GY59, GY175. BR102, BR104. Colorless blender

And Copic Markers:
Hot Air Balloon: V20, V22, V25

I trimmed my image and adhered it with 3D foam dots onto a circle of patterned paper I cut out using classic circle nestabilities. I matted them both onto a scalloped circle and added a doily behind it.

My papers are Basic Grey Mellow and they've been stitched down onto white and brown cardstock. I added a metal photo corner and some button twine. The I added some wild orchid crafts flowers and Viva Decor paper pen for my pearls.

Thanks for popping in today.
Be sure to check back on Wednesday for a brand new inspiration theme.

Colors of Autumn

Hello fellow friends! This is Ruby sharing my "Autumn" take for this month challenge. I have the oh so popular Saturated Canary,"Autumn". I'm showcasing her on a bright easel card with fun fall colors.

Look at that fun ponytail to color!!! I have colored her with my Spectrum noir pens :)

My sentiment is from the Little Darlings Warm Fuzzies sentiment line "Fall Harvest" Collection designed by our lovely
Mindy Baxter! I think it suits the card theme don't you think?
"Red, Orange and brown are the colors of my town. Fall is here again"!

Well that's it for me today and I'll be back sooner then you know it. Come back on Friday to get some eye candy from Pop's post.

Thanks for all your love, Ruby

Fresh Baked Pie

Hello Everyone!  Angie here!  Did you notice that I completely missed my post on Sunday?  What a goof I am!!!  Sheri stepped up to the plate and covered my backside. Thank you Sheri!!! So I am taking Sheri's turn with my post today :-)

So....I have had this scene painted for nearly 2 weeks and finally found time today to put the card together. I hadn't painted in sooooooo long and this was so difficult that it was almost torture at times. I can't tell you how many times I nearly threw it away and started over again! But, I powered on through and I'm pretty happy with the result. If I were to start it again, I'm certain there are things that I would do differently. But that's probably ALWAYS the case! LOL!!!!

Fresh Baked Pie

Well, here she is! She's got a 'Fresh Baked Pie' and she's ready for company! Want some? Mmmmmm....smells delish! She is one of the lovely LDRS Cutie Pies! I have paired her with the really great 'Wing Back Chair' and 'Table & Lamp', also from LDRS. The combo creates such a warm and cozy 'at home' scene. And, they were SO MUCH FUN TO WORK WITH!!!!! When I had these designed, I wanted some background elements that would really create an in-home feeling with a little bit of whimsy. I think they are perfect!

The papers are from BoBunny and, although they have a lot pink, they are very warm Autumn colors overall. I think it's the brown and green that give it that feel. The flowers are all from my stash. Claudia gave me the green flowers, along with a couple of other colors, and I really LOVE them. Thank you Claudia!!! The ribbons are from SU and American Crafts. I doodled the brown stitching around the scene. The images....well, as mentioned, they are painted with DI's. I also used a few Copics on the skin and hair.

Well, that's it from me today! Thank you so very much for stopping by!!!

Hugs to you all :-)

Ciao,

Angie

Good morning everyone!!
Happy Sunday!

Our theme for this month is

"As the Leaves Turn."
Here in Utah "As the Leaves Turn" the apples are just getting ready to pick and the roses are still in full bloom. So I have picked two very fun images for my gift bag today and masked them together.
Stamps: Holidays Happenings Picking Apples and Background stamp
Color Medium: Copic Markers
Misc: pearls, fabric button brads, jute trim, paper flowers. I have punched the leaves with my McGill punch called Designer Leaves.I have added stickles to them to give them a beautiful sparkle.

You can find all of the stamps and papers used at the Little Darlings Rubber stamps store and ready to ship.

Don't forget to stop back on Friday for our special guest designer post. Have a great day!
Wishing you love, happiness and inky fingers.

Hi there friends!! It's Sheri here and today we have one more totally delightful card from our guest designer, Carol van der Westhuizen
For my card I have used the gorgeous new rubber stamp called "Free Hugs" by Little Darlings Saturated Canary and coloured her in with Copics. I cut out a round card shape and used a Martha Stewart border punch around the outside. The swirl, butterfly and leaves are doohickey dies and the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. The ribbon and pin are from my stash.

Isn't this just so sweet and beautiful?!
Thank you so much for being a part of the Little Darlings team Carol! The love that you put into your cards shines through...and it was such a joy to be able to get to know!! ((Hugs))
